Abstract
The use of specialized research to gain economic viability is one of the most important issues in societies. This issue has led to this study aimed to identify and prioritize the strategies for commercialization of sport management knowledge using a combination of three-branch model and TOPSIS. The present study was a descriptive-analytical study that was carried out fieldwork. The statistical population of the study consisted of experts in the field of sports management who were experienced in the field of sports management knowledge and commercialization of knowledge. Based on snowball selection, 18 people were identified as the sample of the study. The research questionnaire included a researcher-made questionnaire. The questionnaire was designed as a strategy matrix based on TOPSIS. In order to identify the commercialization strategies of sport management knowledge, the theoretical foundations of the research as well as expert opinion were used. To this end, the researcher first identified a number of strategies by identifying earliest strategies available from the papers, then using the review of the team of experts to finalize these strategies. In this research, 12 strategies for the commercialization of sport management knowledge were identified and finalized. Topsoils method was used to select the best commercialization strategies for sport management knowledge. All data analysis process was performed using BT TopSis SoLver software. Based on the findings of the research, the development of a skilled professional system for evaluating university research projects and evaluating the potential of these projects is essential for commercializing the management knowledge of sports with the coefficient of 0.8197.
