The aim of this study was to examine the relationship among organizational culture, knowledge management and organizational effectiveness in Sport and Youth Ministry of Iran. The statistical population consisted of all experts of Sport and Youth Ministry in Physical Education and Sport Department (N=290). The statistical sample was 165 subjects using Morgan Table and 150 questionnaires were returned correctly. Four questionnaires including demographic, organizational culture, knowledge management and organizational effectiveness questionnaires were used to collect the data and their validity and reliability were confirmed. Descriptive statistics (frequency, percent, mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (multiple regression) were used to analyze the data. Results showed that organizational culture factors except for adaption were significant predictors of knowledge management. Also, organizational culture factors except for mission were significant predictors of organizational effectiveness. Two knowledge management factors including knowledge application and knowledge sharing were significant predictors of organizational effectiveness respectively. So, it is suggested that top managers of Sport and Youth Ministry should increase the effectiveness of knowledge management and organizational effectiveness through developing the culture of learning and knowledge management facilitation.
