Developing the model of citizens' sports activities during the Covid Pandemic 19

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to present a model of citizens' sports activities during the Covid 19 pandemic. This study was conducted by the mixed method. In the qualitative section, with a phenomenological approach, 21 experts in the field of citizenship sports were selected by purposive sampling. Semi-structured in-depth interviews were used to collect data and Smith's interpretive phenomenological method was used to analyze the data. In the quantitative part, the statistical population consisted of citizens with a history of sports activities that according to the Morgan table, 384 citizens were randomly selected as the sample size. Quantitative data were collected using a researcher-made questionnaire and quantitative data analysis was performed using structural equation modeling (PLS software 2.0). Based on the analysis of qualitative data, a total of 73 themes, 7 sub-themes, and 3 main themes were extracted and classified. The results showed that the pattern of citizens' sports activities during the Covid-19 pandemic period included the following; There was a change in the quality of life, a change in lifestyle, and a change in sports style. Sports activities have been studied in the pandemic crisis. According to the findings, the model of this study can provide a suitable platform for strengthening the quality and lifestyle of citizens to better manage citizen sports and guide citizens to sports activities adjusted according to the pandemic conditions.
