Abstract
The aim of the current research was to develop a model of effective factors and strategies for the development of sports in schools in low-income provinces (case study: South Khorasan province). The statistical population of the research was all the physical education teachers and managers of the General Department of Education of South Khorasan Province (N=417), and 208 people were selected as the research sample based on Morgan's table. The collection tool was a questionnaire that was obtained from library studies and Ansari research (2019) and its face validity was confirmed by experts and its reliability was obtained through Cronbach's alpha coefficient. SPSS version 26 software was used for data analysis and Lisrel version 10 software was used to design the research model. The results of the one-sample t test showed that the average of all factors is higher than the theoretical average (3) and is significant at the alpha level of 0.01 (p<0.01). Therefore, it is concluded that from the point of view of the respondents, the level of influence of all components in the development of school sports is at a favorable level. The component of individual-social factors with an average of 4.56 and the component of facilities with an average of 4.52 had the greatest impact on the development of school sports in South Khorasan province, which is expected to pay attention to these two strategies for the development of school sports.
