Factors affecting the development of sports diplomacy with an emphasis on women's sports

Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the factors affecting the development of sports diplomacy with an emphasis on women's sports. The present study was applied in terms of its purpose and analytical and exploratory in terms of its nature, which was conducted qualitatively; also, the method of collecting information was documentary and library, which was conducted by content analysis. The statistical population included; professors, experts and academic experts in the country with a specialized field of sports diplomacy, sports experts who had a history of participating in or holding national and international sports events; managers or deputy general directors of physical education in the provinces, who were selected using a purposeful method; finally, 29 people were selected as a sample. Finally, the factors affecting the development of sports diplomacy with an emphasis on women's sports were extracted in three coding stages and the research model of the factors affecting the development of sports diplomacy with an emphasis on women's sports was drawn. The results showed that the factors affecting the development of sports diplomacy with an emphasis on women's sports included; Cultural and social factors, the role of media and social networks, macro-policies, international challenges, economic and financial issues, the role of international competitions, the role of sports institutions, planning and policy-making, knowledge production and research were identified.
