Identifying the factors affecting professional ethics in Iranian sports

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and explain the factors affecting professional ethics in sports based on data theory and provide a model.
Methodology: The present research is applied research in terms of purpose and qualitative in terms of data search and based on data theory and in terms of analytical-exploratory data analysis method and in terms of time of research. It is now clear that data collection was done in the field and survey through interviews. The statistical population of the study includes all academic and experimental sports experts in the country. The statistical sample, according to the size of the statistical population in 1399, was identified, determined and sampled purposefully. Finally, 25 people were interviewed. The first group (academic experts) was 12 people and the second group (experimental experts) was 13 people. Data collection was done through semi-structured and exploratory interviews with sports experts in the country. For data analysis, the foundation data analysis method and Max Kyoda quality software were used.
Findings: The results showed that the concepts obtained from coding the signs were divided into nuclear categories of phenomenon, causal condition, background condition, interfering / disruptive condition, strategies and consequences of implementing professional ethics in sports in the country. Conclusion: Those involved in sports in the country should use the components, categories and dimensions extracted in the final research model in order to implement the characteristics of professional ethics in sports in the country at different levels.
